Introduction

This Chemistry mini-conference will kick-off with a Materials Chemistry lecture from Professor Howard Colquhoun giving you an insight into the incredible materials that have shaped our history, and look at those which will be critical to our future successes. There will then be a careers networking event where you can speak to local scientists who can give you an idea about what it's like to be a scientist, and the steps you might have to take to get there.
