Superheroes: When Science Meets Sci-Fi

23 February 2019 15:00-16:30, Belfast, United Kingdom

Introduction
Calling all chemists, physicists, biologists, and comic book fans of all ages .. help science meet sci-fi and design a superhero using science.  Join our panellists Mark Lorch and Suze Kundu to discuss the science behind their favourite superheroes and get involved in designing a completely new, next level superhero.
The session will explore the current state of the superhero field, what superhero traits and skills should we keep and what new traits and skills do we want. Our team of superhero-loving scientists will lead this ambitious superhero upgrade project with lots of help from the audience and a live illustrator.
