Virtual Classroom Training: Module 2: Gases & Plumbing in GC & GC-MS

27 April 2020 15:15-16:30, United Kingdom

Introduction
This course has been approved by the ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø of Chemistry (·¬ÇÑÉçÇø) for purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

This module looks at the types of carrier gases, detector gases and cooling gases used in gas chromatography in detail.

This is followed by information on their supply; how they are plumbed into the GC; the reasons to use and the types of gas purifiers available; and how the gas flow and pressure is controlled.

The module concludes with a questions and answers session.

This 1-hour module is taught live in a virtual classroom, is totally interactive with instrument parts and consumables shown & explained. There are small group sizes so plenty of opportunities to ask questions then get them answered on screen.

Cost: £50.00 + VAT.

This is module 2 of the Virtual Classroom Training: Practical Essentials of GC & GC-MS (total 18 hours over 5 days) and the Virtual Classroom Training: Complete GC & GC-MS (total 30 hours over 9 days).
