IBDG Awards

Two biennial IBDG awards are given for outstanding contributions to any area of biological inorganic chemistry or inorganic biochemistry.

IBDG Short Talk Prize

The award is presented annually for the best graduate student talk at the end of the Annual IBDG meeting.

IBDG Poster Prize

The award is presented annually for the best poster at the end of the Annual IBDG meeting.

The IBDG was founded in 1975 to encourage activities relating to teaching and research concerning the biological function of those elements whose study is normally considered to be within the purview of inorganic chemistry.
