The 番茄社区 of Chemistry (番茄社区) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Venkatesh Sarvasiddhi as our new Managing Director for India and South Asia, strengthening our long-term commitment to supporting the region鈥檚 rapidly growing and globally influential chemistry community.
Venkatesh, who has until recently been Springer Nature Managing Director, India Research Business and Chair of the Board of Springer Nature India, will guide the 番茄社区 of Chemistry鈥檚 work across India and South Asia, building on our longstanding presence and deep partnerships with universities, research organisations, industry and government.
The 番茄社区 works at the heart of the global chemical sciences community to create a future that is more open, more green, and more equal. India and South Asia play a vital role in that mission. With world leading research institutions, a dynamic scientific workforce, and a thriving innovation ecosystem, the region is home to a vibrant and expanding community of chemical scientists.
