Hilary Brown

Biography

I am an independent consultant specialising in digital, data and technology across the public and private sector. I have Master’s degrees in Chemistry (MChem) and Fire & Explosion Engineering (MSc), with additional expertise in investigation, forensic science and innovation (low technology readiness levels).

I establish order from chaos, taking a vision, strategy or problem area and establishing governance that supports effective business operations, and delivering tangible outputs, outcomes and benefits aligned to the organisation’s requirements.

I am able to support organisations at a more strategic level through a short-term (oversight) review, on an interim basis, or through executive coaching and mentoring on leadership; project, programme and portfolio management (P3M3); people and capability development; and improving maturity.

I have been a guest speaker and delegate at international conferences, sharing insights on industry trends and innovations, fostered global connections and collaborative ventures. I design and deliver training across technical and scientific domains, creating bespoke content to upskill teams.
