Biography
Xianfeng received his PhD from Jilin University in 2006. After three years’ postdoc in K. U. Leuven University, he was appointed as associated professor at Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). In 2012, he was promoted as full professor.
He currently serves as the deputy Director of DICP and the Head of Energy Storage Division at DICP. His research interests mainly focused on electrochemical energy storage, e.g. flow batteries, lithium/sodium-ion batteries from fundamental to industrialization (Energy Environ. Sci., 2011, 4, 1676, Nat. Energy, 2024, 9, 714; Nat. Chem. Eng. 2025, 2, 369; Nat. Sustain. 2024, 7, 1273).
