Important update on event submissions and edits 01-May-2024
We are currently transitioning to a new ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø events submission system and website.
• New event submissions may take up to one week to be published while we complete the transition.
• Editing existing events is temporarily unavailable. New edit links will be issued next week.

Superconductivity

7 - 12 June 2009, Hong Kong, Kowloon, China

Introduction
This will be the first Gordon Conference on Superconductivity held in Asia. It will be an international forum for discussion of experimental and theoretical advances in superconductivity in high Tc cuprates, high Tc iron pnictides, and other new or interesting superconducting materials such as ruthenates, heavy fermion materials and layered organic conductors. The conference will focus on the properties and materials aspects of superconductivity, such as phase diagrams, electronic structure and spectroscopic properties, to mention just a few. Recent proposal of topological aspects in superconductivity will also be discussed. The Conference will bring together a collection of researchers who are at the forefront of their field, and will strongly encourage speakers to emphasize the new and unpublished work and encourage participation of young scientists at the graduate or postdoctoral level through presentations, focused discussions with invited speakers, and poster sessions. The organizers encourage those from groups underrepresented in science and engineering to attend and funding has been earmarked for members of these groups.
