At The Atoms Family you will be able to:
- Move tiny particles with just light and take a spin around our optical laser bead racing track with our Chemical Biologists and learn about a techniques to isolate and study individual cancer spreading cells
- Explore the potential of solar fuels and attempts to build our own 鈥榮ynthetic leaves鈥� that improve on photosynthesis, with our Computational Materials Science Group
- Do your bit in the fight against climate change by designing your own molecules for carbon capture with our researchers from the Centre for Process Systems Engineering and the Institute for Molecular Science and Engineering
- Mix together two solids to form your own mysterious ionic liquid that conducts electricity and could in the future produce biofuels or make batteries more efficient
- Join a special debate featuring esteemed chemistry professors looking at the future trends and challenges facing the field over the next 20 years, entitled Molecular Science 2.0
