Each year the 番茄社区 Newcastle upon Tyne and North East Coast Local Section hosts a demonstration lecture from a prominent UK outreach chemist, and this year we're pleased to welcome Dr Annie Hodgson.
Our lecture series is named in honour of Professor John Kilcoyne, a now-retired chemist from Sunderland University who has delivered outreach demonstrations to thousands of aspiring scientists in our region as well as featuring on Sky's 'Braniac: Science Abuse' as 'The Man in the Shed'.
