Water SIG at 30 - the last and the next 30 years

27 January 2017 09:00-10:00, United Kingdom

Introduction
Water Special Interest Group was inaugurated in 1987 and has made steady progress since, established as one of the largest of IChemE SIGs with a programme including technical meetings, site visits, awards, student bursaries, donation of science materials to schools, input to IChemE initiatives, and in recent years, many webinars. This talk by Chris Short, Chair of the Water SIG, will review changes in the topics covered in the first 30 years and speculate, with help from the participants, on how these may change over the next 30 years.

Please note that this event is a replacement at short notice for the previously advertised talk on 'Wickedness in Water Research' by Craig Sheridan of the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa.
