·¬ÇÑÉçÇø materials chemistry division poster symposium

Introduction
The ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø Materials Chemistry Division Poster Symposium is an opportunity for PhD students and researchers at the start of their career in industry to showcase their work to peers and leading researchers from academia and industry. 

On the day, our judges from academia and industry will recognise the two best posters who will win free registration to the 14th International Conference on Materials Chemistry (MC14).

Speakers
Professor Andrew Goodwin, University of Oxford, United Kingdom

Andrew Goodwin is Professor of Materials Chemistry at the University of Oxford. His key research interest is in the functional role of disorder in complex materials. He studied at the Universities of Sydney and Cambridge, and holds two PhDs: one in Inorganic Chemistry and the other in Mineral Physics. In 2009 he moved to Oxford to start his independent academic career, and was promoted to Professor in 2014. In 2017 he was named Chemistry Laureate of the inaugural UK Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists.
