The morning visit to the Surface Chemistry and Catalysis centre of KUL will include an introduction to the work done by the 100 or so staff there and a chance to see some of the sophisticated anaytical equipment used. The lab visit will be followed by a sandwich lunch in the Brasserie Waaiberg (Tervuursevest 60) and then a two hour guided walking tour of the historic town of Leuven, starting from the Begijnhof Church in the Groot Begijnhof, and ending in the town centre.
