Retired Members' lunch event with a talk

Introduction
Talk by Dr Jeremy Ashbee, Head Properties Curator, English Heritage.
English Heritage, founded in 1983, manages over 400 historic monuments, buildings and places of interest. These include prehistoric sites, Roman forts, medieval castles, and country houses. The charity uses these properties to "bring the story of England to life" for over 10 million people each year.
Dr Ashbee will talk about the charity and the work it does in preserving the properties in its care and rendering them accessible to the general public.

The talk will start at 12pm, it will be preceded by coffee/tea from 11.30am, and followed by a seated buffet lunch with wine at 1pm.

Cost £25 per head, to book your place please email by 15th February at
secretaryrsccm@gmail.com and you will be required to complete a form.

There will be a collection for the speaker's chosen charity at the end of the event.
