Air Quality in the 21st Century

Introduction
Building on the success of last year's conference, this event will present an update on a range of relevant topics providing a broad and up-to-date survey of the measurement, regulatory and scientific issues affecting air quality. The conference will be held in collaboration with DEFRA’s Air Quality Expert Group (AQEG), with a number of presentations focused on the group’s recently published reports, and in conjunction with the UK Clean Air Programme.

Rosie McEachan (Born in Bradford Director, Bradford Institute for Health Research) - Title TBC
Eloise Marais (Professor of Atmospheric Chemistry and Air Quality, University College London) - Inequitable exposures and health burdens of air pollution from the major oil and gas lifecycle stages in the United States

Abstract submission
Instructions on abstract submission can be found in the abstract template in the “Downloads” section. Please submit your abstract by the deadline (20 Oct 2025). Abstracts will undergo review by the Organising Committee: some will be offered a slot for an oral presentation, while the others will be invited to present a poster. Abstract authors will be notified of the decision by Mon 3rd November.
