Spend part of the day learning the theory behind the different pyrolysis techniques and then put this knowledge into practice in the lab, creating pyrolysis methods, analysing samples and changing parameters to see the effects. This course will cover analytical pyrolysis and requires knowledge of GC or GC-MS.
